Mixed Beach Volleyball Opportunities

There are mixed (co-ed, female, and male) doubles players playing pick-up volleyball on the beach on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays all summer long (weather permitting, of course … if the raindrops are minimal and the wind stays below 15 mph, players will be present).

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, play starts around 5:30 p.m. and goes until sundown or exhaustion. On Sundays, play starts around noon and ends between 3-4 p.m. No partner is required and the format is a ‘work-up’ — your first game will be at the bottom-most court and if you win, you move ‘up’. When you lose, you move ‘down’. This way, the more competitive teams typically play against each other at the ‘upper’ courts and the less competitive teams are matched up together at the ‘lower’ courts.
